Chef Nicole has the answer to the eternal question of “what’s for dinner?”. She takes what is seasonal and on sale, and shows you how to translate that into a culinary masterpiece. Through extensive research and study, she has learned the truth in using food as the best medicine. Chef Nicole will guide you through food allergies and/or intolerances, as well as coach you on the health promoting benefits of the food you will be enjoying. A few select students can join her in the kitchen for a more hands-on approach. She will give a brief talk before each meal to describe the nutritional benefits as well as how each dish was prepared.

2. Rub Your Belly!

A smart person’s guide to healthy eating. Finally be able to answer the age-old question of “What the hell am I supposed to eat?”.

3. Spice it Up!

Herbs and spices not only add flavor to your food, but they can help you stay healthy, too. See which of your favorites can benefit you!

  • Enjoy an informative chat session with Dr. Goodman, Board Certified Gynecologist, concerning issues on menopause, hormone replacement therapy, and safe weight loss strategies. 

  • Learn about the state-of-the-art non-surgical procedures that are available for menopausal symptoms, urinary incontinence, vaginal dryness, female rejuvenation, and more.

  • Dr. Goodman will also set aside time for some one-on-one consultations.

    A local artist will be on hand during each weekend to lead a hands-on fine art experience. The final product will be donated to a local charity

  2. Location-Specific Experience

    Each Wellness Retreat will feature pop-up classes to highlight the unique location and enhance your experience. During Registration, you will have time to sign up for your favorites.

  1. Scents & Sensibility 

    Learn and experience the benefits of Essential Oils with good common sense. Handouts will be provided with tips on how to sensibly use blends or single note oils in every day life. Explore the difference between fragrances vs. essential oils.

  2. Kitchen Skin Care Tips

    Learn how to improve your skin care while using common household items and foods. Handouts provided.

  3. Botanical Boosts

    Educate yourself on the many plants, herbs and flowers that are healthy to consume daily in teas, salads, etc. and why these are proven to be beneficial.

  4. Private Skin Care Consultations 

    These consultations will be available during your stay. Bring your products and ask Donna to review each one with you. Suggestions will be made to better improve your home routine. Appointment needed.

  1. Lets Get Vertical

    Experience an inspirational class on the importance of good posture! Fundamental movements of the Pilates Method will be explored to correct those bad habits and encourage proper spinal alignment. Pilates props will be included in this workshop.

    Join Marie in this fun and fat burning approach to movement. This Dance Fitness session is appropriate for all fitness levels. Sneakers are required.

  5. Pilates Round Robin

    Lengthen and strengthen your body with a variety of Pilates mat exercises and new twists on traditional Pilates movements.

    The dynamic relationship between humans and dogs has proven to have beneficial influence on one’s well being thus promoting positive effects on some health issues. Just to name a few benefits, dogs give us reason to exercise, relief from loneliness, and can also help in decreasing blood pressure. Attend this session to discover more!

  2. Selecting the right breed of dog for your family

    Determine the right breed of dog that will fit your family and your lifestyle.  Wes will discuss the pros and cons of the different breeds that will make life easier for you, your family and your beloved pet.

  3. How to live happily with your dog

    This session will address common problems or misunderstandings with your pet. Wes will explore the behavioral issues you may be experiencing now. This is an open question and answer presentation that will assist you with solutions for those undesirable habits.
